The event was very well attended and professionally run, with a delicious meal and opportunities to network with the community - an important feature for the many home-based teleworkers in attendence. Congrats, MATAC, for a job well done!

The guest speaker at the luncheon was Steve Eldridge, WTOP's Sprawl and Crawl reporter. Among his many observations and insights, Steve gave his candid assessments of how the various local governments are doing on telework: in Fairfax County, they have a "wonderful program";  Montgomery County - "a little slow...", they're still studing it; DC - "how do you spell that?".
