Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

Impossible is Potential. Impossible is Potential --
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it.

Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion.
Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare.

Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
Impossible is nothing.

...from Adidas and their ad campaign based on these words. Check out the Flash ads, especially the one with Stacy Kohut, for a great perspective on encountering constraints.

Just do it. [Frank Patrick's Focused Performance Blog]

Sometimes we all need a reminder of what is really impossible before we get down.  Even if it has to come from Adidas.

Making Space for Ponytails and Many Shopping Bags. When Volvo rolled into the Geneva Motor Show this week with a car designed by women, for women, the mostly male crowd gaped. By Mark Landler. [New York Times: Business]

It's about time.  "The headrests have a gap in the center to accommodate a ponytail."

I haven't talked to anyone today.  Well, except to say thank you to the server at Taco Bell and make my latte order at Barnes & Noble.  It's been quite nice.  I didn't exactly accomplish my goal of working on work-work like crazy, but I did have a good break for myself, which I desperately needed.  After I read the paper, I wrote a new short story in my story book.  My favorite line from it is "she needed it more than coffee needs cream." heh.  I'm a goofball.  After that trip out, I did a new painting at love that is all gray/white/black and quite lovely, at least in my definition where lovely means different/abstract...not lovely like a flower.  I also cleaned out my car, bought groceries and now I'm thinking hard about whether I want to read or clean.

It's been difficult to be excited about work lately 'cause our President mentioned that I might be outgrowing the company...I'm 26, how can I outgrow a company?  Jeez!
