So, I still haven't taken my project notes out of the car, but there was a really interesting "fact" given in this past week that's stuck with me. On a normal project, companies spend 35% of the total sale on doing rework/fixing/clarifying. When a company focuses on quality, this can drop to 3-5%. Think for a minute about how much of a difference that makes in the profitability of a company. It's worth a few minutes up-front to save the headache (and big bucks) later. The focus on quality HAS to come from the top-down as a priority though for a true implementation.
More to come...

Where are the blinkers when the cars are turning? Are people saving their bulbs for the important times? To the savers: Use it! Really, it doesn’t cost as much as a tank of gas these days. Feel free, when you’re turning or changing lanes, hit the side and flip the switch. It’ll make the world a better place.
