I'm trying to pack by having keep boxes and give-away boxes.  I really need to get rid of stuff?  What about weird gifts that I'll never use?  Is it okay to give away unused things?  Maybe I cna have friends over to see if they want that stuff first.  Or a yardsale if there's time. 7:44:08 PM

Roommate Meeting is not too dissimilar from blind dates.  A funny awkwardness.  Both people wanting the other person to like them even if they aren't particularly interested.  Not sure what the right questions are.  Or if the questions matter as much as the talking-chemistry.  And that tingling reminder that sometimes first impressions are way off base, anyway, and no way to see past that in 10 minutes.  I've been trying to figure out what questions are important.  These seem to be the reoccuring: Smoking.  Us non-smokers don't like it inside.  Ever. Pets Normal daily routine...better to figure out now if you're both wanting to take a shower at 7 AM Cooking.  I'm not a big cook, but I need a decent amount of fridge space. Guests:  Is it okay to have a group over?  Overnight guests? (one house wanted me to sign an agreement that I wouldn't have overnight guests...um, I'm 27 & single...it doesn't happen a lot, but when I want it to...).  Decorating:  Is it set or open for discussion Use of shared space. Deposit / standard monthly bills.  It might seem to go without saying, but I had a big deposit announcement not pop up until several conversations in. Cleaning.  No, really.  People have such different expectations here.  Everyone will say they're pretty clean.  Better question is how do you think shared-space cleaning should be done, how frequently for dishes and such.. Hate.  Woke up hating the haircut. :( It's just hair. It grows.  It's just hair.  It grows.  If I keep saying it, I'll totally believe it, right? Even though it's clean, maybe washing/drying on my own will help.   5:54:25 AM
