Uh-oh.  I'm finding myself not tired enough to greet sleep properly...darnit!

Seriously nice evening with the girls, the symphony, the fireworks and some wine/cheese/veggies/steak/dessert.  It was good to catch-up and be outside.

Back to work tomorrow, but greatful for having some much needed lazy (though, not boring) days in with no work too.

Once again reminded of the wonderfulness of my world and how fortunate it really is on a regular basis.

Now to snap out of the focus on just enjoying and get some things done (address changes, packing, accident taken care of, getting caught up at work...should i try to fit in dating again, somewhere?)...but, alas, there's tomorrow for that stuff and sleep and reading for tonight.

Amen.

Happy Fourth!  I was in a parade today!  heh.  It was actually pretty fun 'cause the people watching had no idea what we were doing (the boys were shooting some scenes for a movie).  You can see me having fun here.  The only downside was that my car got injured (hit) as i was pulling out of a parking lot (a person turned a corner without looking) and now I'll need a new bumper and rear-side-panel. Ugh!  I know insurance will cover it, but such a pain to get estimates, get a rental and get it taken care of.

Surreal Life is one freaking hilarious show.

I'm off to see the BSO fireworks show at Oregon Ridge tonight.  Yay!  It sure doesn't seem like the 4th of July...even after the parade.  Hhmm.  It feels like it should be Memorial Day, maybe.

I like this horoscope:

Capricorn
(Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Still not in the mood for anything that even remotely resembles work? Good for you. It's about time. Don't let anyone wearing a scowl come closer than a hundred paces. Think of it as an unofficial restraining order

Now to go be in a parade.

I slept almost 10 hours last night.  Who knew catching up took so long?
