So, one of the more important pieces of my visit to Arkansas was the ability to so clearly see where I get SO many of my primary character traits.  Emotions.  Reactions.  The way I handle daily activity.  Of course it makes sense, but it was a bit overwhelming to see.  However, I know there's plenty of individuality.  When out with my mom, aunt and cousin I was thinking of how my mom and aunt were raised in the same house, so share some traits....but my cousin and I are VERY different 'cause we picked different traits from our moms.

This made me also think of what traits I would want to pass on and which I'd rather let die out!!

A new lunchtime favorite!  Whole wheat tortilla that is serving as a wrap for ham, jalapeno cheese and broccoli sprouts.  Yum!!

My belly hurts.

Too much work still to do and I've been here 3.5 hours.  I brought my lunch, but just may have to make a Target trip to have a break.

Oh, and Tisha should be at the hospital right now.  I'm bummed I didn't get to meet her little guy yet, but she sure does make one cute, pregnant mama!!    I didn't get to spend enough time with her, but it was great to see her and her little one.  Such an animated sweetie-pie that 2.5 year old is!

I'm down to 35 messages and it's not yet 8 AM, so I thought I'd do a quick post.  Arkansas was wonderful. It was hot, but bearable.  It was really good to see my family and friends and lovely kiddo's.  My two best friends both have BEAUTIFUL, wonderful, little girls who I'm so bummed to not get to see more.  It took both of them about 5 minutes to warm up to me and then become my best friend.  So sweet!  And somehow I convinced both of them that I needed "three sugars" before I could go.  So, that should keep me stocked for....oh, I could already use another little hug.

I am in a new rental car...these are like extended test drives.  In the past month I've had a Chevy Malibu, Toyota Echo and now a Kia Optima...and I drove my mom's Honda Civic last week.  I'm not going to know what to do with my big car when I get it back...hopefully all repaired next Monday.

I'm pretty committed to 30 minutes of unpacking a day until I have my room completely done.  I'm tired of looking at all of the boxes.  Then the closet comes next so I can actually find clothes to wear to work.  It was good to get back to my new place yesterday. At least from my perspective, things are really working out well.  And having a shorter commute is awesome.

If you happen to see the September issue of Glamour, check out the confessions on page 233.  :)  It's my 15-minutes of fame.

Uh-oh...time to get back to work.

Not enough sleep, too much caffeine, happy days had in Arkansas.  More later....when I can get my inbox down to a respectable level...
