I have an addiction...to personality tests.

The latest results from this test read (though I am not a he!):

1. DESIRED OBJECTIVES OR BEHAVIOR DICTATED BY DESIRED OBJECTIVES.
Takes easily and quickly to anything which provides stimulation. Preoccupied with things of an intensely exciting nature, whether erotically stimulating or otherwise. Wants to be regarded as an exciting and interesting personality with an altogether charming and impressive influence on others. Uses tactics cleverly so as to avoid endangering his chances of success or undermining others confidence in himself.

2. THE EXISTING SITUATION OR BEHAVIOR APPROPRIATE TO THE EXISTING SITUATION.
Attracted by anything new, modern or intriguing. Liable to be bored by humdrum, the ordinary or the traditional.

3. CHARACTERISTICS UNDER RESTRAINT OR BEHAVIOR INAPPROPRIATE
TO THE EXISTING SITUATION.
Able to achieve satisfaction from sexual activity.

Believes that he is not receiving his share -- that he is neither properly understood nor adequately apreciated. Feels that he is being compelled to conform, and close relationships leave him without any sense of emotional involvement.

4. REJECTED OR SUPPRESSED CHARACTERISTICS OR ANXIETY-LADEN CHARACTERISTICS.
Pronounced susceptibility to outside stimuli. Wants to overcome a feeling of emptiness and of
separation from others. Believes that life still has far more to offer and that he may miss his share experiences if he fails to make the best use of every opportunity. He therefore pursues his
objectives with a fierce intensity and commits himself deeply and readily. Feels himself to be
completely competent in any field in which he engages, and can sometimes be considered by
others to be interfering or meddlesome. Intense involvement.

5. THE ACTUAL PROBLEM OR BEHAVIOR RESULTING FROM STRESS.
Has a fear that he may be prevented from achieving the things he wants. This leads him to employ great personal charm in his dealings with others, hoping that this will make it easier for him to reach his objectives.

The fear that he may be prevented from achieving the things he wants leads him to play his part with an  urgent and hectic intensity.

My new goal of unpacking for 30 minutes per day until my room is good worked out pretty well last night.  I was able to empty three boxes in that 30 minutes and either put things away or throw away things (yep, throwing away some things that moved).

One note to friends:  I don't need ANY bath stuff.  For probably a year or two. I am vowing to not buy any shampoo, soap, lotion or bubble bath until I use up, or dispose of, everything I have.  That might take a long time.  Please don't help me restock.

I have developed a major morning addicition to Starbucks Iced Coffee...sweetened.  The last word is what makes it the most negative.  But, it's so YUM!

Things are working out well at the new house.  I like the space.  I like the roommate.  And the cats.  I LOVE the commute difference.  So much less stress.  I am hearing less Howard Stern, but I guess that can prepare me for his switch to sattelite radio.

And in another week I should have my car back and maybe life really will return to...."normal."  :)
