I am encouraged hearing that Microsoft is actively and agressively pursuing ideas similar to the ones I mentioned in my article on simple non-technological efforts that Microsoft could be pursuing to increase security for Microsoft users and generally for the internet.
I doubt I was much influence here -- it seems that many of my ideas were already being developed when I wrote the article. One of the amazing things about Microsoft is that (despite appearances to the contrary sometimes) they often act decisively and quickly.
