Winterdance

So I spent the early part of the week on a winter retreat at Sir Sam's Inn, a Haliburton summer and winter resort. It is a nice, small hotel with a history and great food. We did some cross country skiing, tried some new high tech snow shoes and ate and drank very well. The highlight of the two days though was a taste of dogsledding provided by Winterdance.

A few more pictures are here in "Winter Fun".

Not so strange Branding?

Further to my post on the strange branding, I had a discussion on the weekend with an old friend and former business partner who is currently working at one of Toronto's premier branding firms. It seems that maybe the strange branding isn't so strange after all. It certainly has generated lots of discussion here(and obviously stood out in my mind enough that I posted their logo). The logo and the clinic name will not be forgotten. I am sure the doctors that run and own the clinic are not stupid -- the branding and clinic name bring humour/wit to a subject that generally is not openly discussed so are probably very successful as branding goes.

Maybe deserves a case study by a premier branding firm?
