Microsoft Notebook Wireless Optical Mouse

I thought I would take some time to plug a great product: the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. I have had one of these for quite a number of months and have just purchased another for my partner.

This is a compact little optical mouse with a wireless interface so that you can use it from across the room on any surface (but not on a glass table as my wife found out to her embarrasment attempting to use an optical mouse in the middle of a demo).  It has a smooth easy to use scrolling wheel. The USB receiver is small and fits into a dock on the bottom of the mouse and when docked conveniently shuts off the mouse so that the unit is together in your bag and not consuming power. Included in the package is a AA Energizer alkaline battery that seems to keep going and going. I have yet to replace the original battery in the first unit which gets constant use.

Maybe the perfect notebook mouse.
