Further thought on the "referrer spam" I mentioned the other day. I am beginning to wonder if this is somehow related to a machine visiting that is infected with mal/ad/spyware. I don't get a lot of traffic so I can watch the referrer log pretty closely. It seems like the "spam" and real referrer reads come in pairs. I will have to examine the server logs to see if these reads come from the same machine (which would be a very good indicator that my malware speculation was correct).
