So the other day I had a call from a lady telling me I had won a trip to Paris. Huh? But sure enough I was one of 25 or so that had won a contest(that I had entered on line) to go to Paris to attend the launch of a Montreal artist's new album. The artist -- Gregory Charles.
We went out yesterday and bought his previous album -- least we can do is know what he sounds like.
So Pat and I are off to Paris November 24, back on December 1, most of it courtesy Gregory Charles et al (we have to get to Montreal and back and are extending the trip for a few days at the back end at our expense).
