I have decided this will be my last post to this (or probably any other) weblog. My first post was in 2003. I started the weblog as an experiment to find out what all the excitement was about (particularly on Robert Scoble's part) and Radio Userland seemed like the obvious platform to use at the time. I have dutifully plunked down my $29.95 per year since that time.
The process became cathartic and even though I had and have very few readers, the price and the time spent was worth it. I have lost my fervour for it though and lately the process has become a chore with no redeeming qualities. I am using FriendFeed as my catharsis tool of choice these days (follow my stream here) and have decided not to renew my subscription to Radio Userland. I am not sure what will happen to the weblog -- it could survive and continue to be accessible but could also easily disappear. I would prefer for it to endure but am comfortable if it disappears forever.
Goodbye -- see you on FriendFeed.
