Japan and South Korea voiced determination today to proceed with sending troops to Iraq despite weekend killings of several of their nationals there and popular doubts about taking part in the operation.
South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun, who faces a tough decision on what kind of additional troops to send to Iraq, called for a security review today after what he said was the intolerable shooting of four civilians there.
