ROK Top Economy for Digital Opportunity.  [ITU Strategy & Policy Unit Newslog]

The ITU, together with other partners (including UNCTAD and the KADO), launches a new series of reports entitled World Information Society Report

The partners involved have created the Digital Opportunity Index (DOI) to measure digital opportunity for 180 economies. South Korea tops the list of the World Information Society Report summary.

The summary of the report is at: www.itu.int/wisr. The report itself will be published in June 2006.
