David Hoggard's take on local politics and life in general from Greensboro, NC

Saturday, May 28, 2005

A couple of Sundays ago I was the M.C. for the musical portion of the Parisian Promenade held in the Bicentennial Gardens.  I've done this for a couple of years in support of Greensboro Beautiful's effort to raise awareness of the Gardens and promote local artists.

This year a local group of very talented folks who call themselves Songs of Water (cool site, replete with blog) wowed the crowd so much the band sold out the box of CD's they offered during and after their performance.  Their music is different, but in a most wonderful way.  Listen up.
