Utah Episcopalians voted to endorse the recent election of a gay Episcopalian bishop, as reported here by the Desert News. Interestingly, the article also notes that the 22 Utah congregations (with 6,000 parishoners) are among the most prosperous financially in the entire Episcopalian union, supported by $5 million in annual proceeds from a trust funded by the sale of St. Mark's hospital.
