Calfornia wildfires: A first-person account here, by a Mormon eyewitness (yes, the stake is pulling together to get through yet another California natural disaster). Includes some outstanding photos of towering walls of flame threatening Stevenson Ranch, a well-to-do LA suburb just around the corner from Magic Mountain. Believe it or not, every house was saved--let's hear it for those heros in the red trucks!
