Pre-Election Anxiety Disorder If you are losing sleep, biting your nails, fighting with friends...all because of the upcoming election, you are not alone. Joel Aschenbach of the Washington Post reports that PEAD is sweeping the nation. The polls are so close, and the stakes so high, that partisans on both sides of the Bush-Kerry divide are up in arms and frantic that their man might lose. Many are worried about vote-stealing and law suits, which could tie up a final count way beyond the 37 days of 2000. I hope you all will take a deep breath, go vote your conscience, and hope for the best.
