Lincoln Museum

The New York Times carried a front-page story today (Nov 14) on the Lincoln Presidential Museum, now scheduled to open in Springfield in early 2005. The Lincoln Presidential Library, a center for Illinois historical research, opened in 2002.

According to the Times, the Museum may be controversial because it has some whiz-bang events designed to draw big crowds. For those who enjoy history as show-biz, the Lincoln complex may be fun to go see next summer.

To learn more about the library and museum project, see its web site.
