“There is much suffering in the world - physical, material, mental. The suffering of some can be blamed on the greed of others. The material and physical suffering is suffering from hunger, from homelessness, from all kinds of diseases. But the greatest suffering is being lonely, feeling unloved, having no one. I have come more and more to realize that it is being unwanted that is the worst disease that any human being can ever experience.” -Mother Theresa In a society where we have everything, we take more than we need and rape others opportunity for survival. Complacent, we continue down our narrow-view road stripping away life to enhance our own. Mothers, fathers, children, the abandoned, the lonely, the sick, the dying... are continuing to suffer everyday on the cost of our addicted behaviors. When will the torture end? There is no question that it won't. The only important question is whether or not you will recognize your wealth and utilize it to serve? It seems as though christains are christians until it interferes with thier finances or time. Mother theresa said that the most freeing experience of her life was her vow of poverty- because when you let go of everything you have on this earth, you are left with no choice but to rely solely on Jesus. *for more info, check http://www.americancatholic.org/Features/teresa/ 4:45:45 PM ![]() |
