Damn - But it is about the money!

The Ministry might not think that this about money. But it is.
It is about your money and my money.
It is about the money we pay as tax, and the money we pay as parents.
It is about the money that we have and are going to pay for the closures.
It is about the money that we have raised and ploughed into the schools.

And if time and effort are money, we are spending huge amounts on fighting this.
Time and effort that could be better spent with our families, on our businesses, and on our work.
Time and effort that could have been spent on making New Zealand a better place.
Instead what do we have? Communities fighting and children not getting time with their tired stressed parents.

These ‘consolidations’ are a real kick in the teeth. To our wallets, and to us. A Minister and a Ministry showing absolute disrespect and contempt for us, the people of New Zealand.
