Long interviews make for big MP3 files. Sounds obvious I know, but this is a useful clue. If you are going to listen to "podcasts" using your portable solid state device, you need a few handy features. Like an indicator to tell you which track you are on.  And even better, a way of marking where you stopped in the middle of the track, so that you can move back to that point later on and resume listening.

There is a choice: you have these features, or you go for very long runs! Now me, with my Nomad, well I am thinking of cranking up the distance a little...
