Birthday boy,

Don't think you're getting out of this one bud. We're going to have an incredible celebration when you get out. On an aside, since I'm such a good friend, I've taken the liberty of driving 'The Black Dragon' around town these last couple of weeks. Purely from an up keep stand point of course, so the decrongitator valves and the clutch carb injector stems don't get clogged. There were already over 200,000 miles on this pup when you bought it, right?

KD - Great news you're movin' out of the ICU! Though perhaps the 'Wood (as the locals say) is not your preferred locale to recuperate, it does work out splendidly that I work so closeby. I'll be making a few calls to check on the visiting policy and will be sure to stop by on my way home from office space. Thinking about you. Lots of love, Kristin

Great news to hear that you are out of the ICU! (However, you did stifle my plans for a 2004 "Men of the ICU" Calendar). I KNEW, somehow, you would recover from this faster and stronger than the common, mortal man! My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends (even Ortiz) daily.

Keith, Like I said before, we all plan on being at the first game of the season next year with you. Sperry will actually break out of his normal Polo shirt and khakis to don the wifebeater and 20in chain around his neck. If any of us ever knew someone who could beat this it is you and our prayers are behind you every day. Keep up the inspiration. "A man is not finished when he is defeated, he is finished when he quits" and that is one thing I have always admired about you, the "can-do" attitude that anything can be done. Jack and Ronnie Singer here (Amie's folks). You recall we met you in LA and then you joined us for Thanksgiving in the Valley. Keith, during those two meetings it became clear to us that you are a genuinely good man, with a kind heart and soul. That is why God has listened to all those prayers that have burst forth in your behalf. We are sure you will make a complete recovery and will find meaning in this terrible event, so that it will impact your future in a very positive way! We can't wait to see you again.

Drogs,

We are so happy to see you getting better. I have been in contact with your father since the first day he knew about your situation. I have talked to him everynight since he has been in LA and the news just gets better and better. The greatest news I heard from your dad was when he told me, "It took two nurses to restrain him" You have lots of people praying and wishing for your speedy recovery. Glad to see you are getting out of the hospital. Now go and kick around the physical therapists!

Morris, Hana, Corrine, Golan and Sabrina all send you their prayers and wishes. See you soon buddy!
