Journalists' Group Offers FOI Internships
The Society of Professional Journalists is offering two student internships in Freedom-of-Information work. The Pulliam/Kilgore Freedom of Information Internships are paid, 10-week summer work experiences in which students get to research and write about FOI issues. One of the internships is in SPJ's Washington, DC, office, and the other is at the group's Indianapolis, IN, headquarters. The stipend is $400/month. You can apply if you are a college journalism student entering or finishing your senior year, a graduate j-student, or a law student with a journalism background. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2004. More information and application forms are available online.
