NRDC FOIA Request Shows Rat-Poison Industry Clout at EPA

 

Documents disclosed after a FOIA request by the Natural Resources Defense Council show that rat-poison companies had special access and behind-scenes influence over EPA as it drew up health and safety rules for their product. The story was reported in the April 15, 2004, Washington Post.
