Application Deployment with JSR88

A recent question on OTN asked about how to utilize the JSR88 capabilities of the OC4J 10g (10.0.3) Developer Preview. JSR88 is officially known as the Standard J2EE Deployment API and defines a standard set of deployment operations and an associated API a J2EE container must provide.

The Developer Preview includes a relatively unexposed prototype of a Swing based JSR88 GUI tool to do deployments. I've writen a little about it in JSR88 Client Example.
