Wow, I'm actually going to blog about RESEARCH for a change.

Channel 9 has a new video up: a conversation with some of the researchers behind the Singularity project, which is a research prototype of a new operating system architecture. They put up a technical report recently on it too.

This is a super cool operating systems research project.

Microsoft Research yesterday released a cool research prototype called SNARF that lets you look at your email in all sorts of interesting ways. I've been playing with it for a few weeks now and it's become a regular fixture on my desktop at work.
