A very interesting article in USA Today about the TV special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" -- because this is the 40th anniversary of it. The article describes how controversial is was in several aspects: the Vince Guaraldi music, using children as voice talents, and most of all for directly quoting the Bible. The studio execs hated it, and it almost never aired; but thankfully it did, and the audience loved it.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is on TV tonight. Enjoy -- the article and the show.
