B2MML Web Seminars
I just received this note from Dennis Brandl who is the leading evangelist (as far as I can tell) about extending use of the ISA S95 model for business to manufacturing communication. The World Batch Forum (http://www.wbf.org/) is hosting two seminars teaching aspects of its implementation of S95 called B2MML (business to manufacturing markup language). Here's the info and a link to sign up.

B2MML [^] Materials and Product Definitions
The WBF B2MML schemas are becoming a popular method for ERP to MES integration. The B2MML schemas are being used by control system vendors, ERP vendors, and directly by end users to simplify and speedup integration projects. This web seminar will be a detailed focus on the B2MML schemas for material definitions and product definitions. The material and product definitions are commonly used to integrate shop floor systems with ERP material masters, BOMs, and inventory accounting systems. It will explain the meaning and structure of the elements and discuss specific implementations and mappings used in projects. The web seminar will also explain the design decisions made in creating the B2MML schemas, and will identify the steps involved and a best practices to develop corporate extensions to the schemas.
