I wrote about Peter Zornio jumping ship from Honeywell to Emerson. Honeywell also lost another high level marketing person and I've heard about some other personnel shifting. So I asked about it. The response is that this is just some normal personnel moves and that there is nothing extraordinary going on. No changes in direction or strategy. Both marketing people achieved significant career advances by leaving. That stuff happens.

Thousands of people (literally) have told me I can't see over a 20 year career refereeing soccer. Amit just reminded me that I stuck an "i" where it shouldn't go in my post from Wednesday. The company is Moblize. He's got one of those domain name campers hoping to sell the domain for big bucks. I apologize.

Still trying to catch up after the last trip. Siemens Energy & Automation has announced some personnel moves. Chief Operating Officer Dennis Sadlowski has been holding a second portfolio as vice president of the Power Distribution & Controls Division. Tom Kopanski is moving to that division from the Automation and Motion Division. Replacing Kopanski at AMD is Raj Batra, who has been vice president at the Automotive and Aerospace Center of Competence. We covered this move earlier at Automation World.
