Had a great dinner with Benson Hougland and Arun Sinha of Opto 22 last night. Unfortunately, when we start talking tech we don't know when to quit. Had to be out of the hotel at 7 am so no run this morning. Did a tour of the Yokogawa Sugarland facility while the AW film crew filmed the demo room and other parts of the facility. My third or fourth trip there--amazing how crowded it's getting. A physical sign of growth. The staging area for new system assembly was packed, too. Now at a President's Club for the last time for the next 6 weeks or so. Next trip is to Chicago for Pack Expo Nov. 10-13; then Automation Fair in Nashville the following week. After Thanksgiving it's the Schneider Electric Ini@tive for OEMs in Monaco (as in Europe). Trying to plan a California trip after that.

The ISA show wasn't bad. Tuesday was pretty packed with attendees. Wednesday not bad. I never made it there today. The film crew went 2 hours overtime. I don't know what the official attendance numbers were, but the show wasn't dead--it just wasn't big. Saw a lot of cool things. I'm working on a new product release roundup now. Will be long.

While still in Las Vegas last week, I participated in a Webcast with Jeff Becker of Honeywell, "Enabling a Mobile and More Efficient Workforce." Jeff was his usual informative self and fielded some good questions. You can view it on demand here.
