"Running ahead of bulls is life and I wanted to feel alive," said Ray Sabbatini, 36, of Wisconsin, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and was accompanied by his friend Dennis Rodman, the retired National Basketball League star.

John Edwards is a good balance of upstart Washington outsider to play the syrupy honest-Injun Jimmy Carter to John Kerry's insider John Kennedy. I'm not sure how I'm going to vote. I think I'm looking for a write in, but the independents who voted for Nader et al were responsible for tipping the scales to put Bush in the White House, that's about as influencial as an independent vote can be in current American politics.

Nuff about politics. My back still hurts but I'm learning to manage it and Jacob prayed for me this morning. I was laying in the floor prone when Jacob (5 yo son) entered and asked, "Why you got Rasberries on your back dad?" I had applied a bag of frozen mixed fruit to my lower back to cool down the spasms and locked up muscles in my back. Then he said, "Why don't you pray for your back, dad?" I said I had been but would he pray for me as well, so he laid down beside me and prayed for me and my achin' back.

Thanks for Laura O. who claimed the Michael Card book to write a review and I threw in Cracking the Da Vinci Code as a bonus. Here are more titles for you to claim by sending a stamped envelope (big enough for average size book) with $3-5 in postage (if you have more than enough I'll also give you a bonus book so the closer to $5 the better if you're looking for value and two books. I'm asking for 300-500 word reviews on these books. If you've written a book report before, you can write a review. Tell me what you liked and didn't like about the book and why I should read it and how I might benefit from it.
