My family went to St. Louis for the second time in two weeks, this time for the ZOE Worship Conference at McKnight Road Church of Christ.
As I listened to my mentors and friends, Mike Cope, John Mark Hicks, John York and many others, my heart was moved and I more fully comprehended what God is doing in churches touched by the ZOE ministry.
The influence on many churches attending these worship conferences is far-reaching and is not simply related to churches starting praise teams and adopting new video technology. That's not what it's about. Instead, churches are seeking revival and renewal of life that they can only find from God in Christ through the Spirit. The movement of worship is not simply about worship innovations but about a more deep and abiding relationship with God and a new awareness of God's story and kingdom that is breaking into this world.
The McKnight Road Church is very hospitable, loving, and there is a sweet Spirit there. I was impressed at their wonderful hosting of the conference, both for the staff and participants. Thank you and may God continue to bless you richly, may all the fullness of Christ dwell in you just as all the fullness of God dwells in Christ (Col 2:9-10).
