They say that the surest sign of a blog's decline is when posts start talking about the blogging process. Could be.

This run of daily posts lasted much longer than I thought it would. What finally brought it to an end was an especially nasty stomach virus that had me completely incapacitated for 24 hours and still recovering now. It was going to end soon enough anyway, as in a few days I'll be making my annual pilgrimage back to California for caroling season. If nothing else, I'd miss a day during the drive down. I'll have my laptop along on the trip, and I expect to have Internet access, so I can post from down there, but I'm sure it'll be less than daily.
