No worries, Mate! Americans are understandably frightened about terrorism, but let me clarify a common statistical fallacy and put your minds at ease. The chances of some American, somewhere in the world, being killed by terrorists are pretty high.  The probability of you in particular being killed by terrorists is rather low -- about the same as the chances of a world-famous wildlife expert being done in by a stingray. Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed today by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef.
