JavaOne kicked off today and yet another busy week for me. I arrived at San Francisco this morning and drove straight to JavaOne. The attendance and participation from vendors seems to be a little better than past two years.
It's good to see that there are a lot of interests on EJB3. It's interesting to see that JDO vendors have started to pitch about EJB3 persistence. Our EJB3/TopLink booth was very crowded this morning and I hardly had time to relax. We are demoing our support for EJB3 specification. We have migrated Java Adventure Builder 1.0.1 applications to use EJB3 and WS Metadata and stop by the EJB3 booth to see how metadata simplifies development.
