Light Construction [posted by Troy] NPR also had a cool story about Dan Flavin who did artworks with lights. This reminded me of Erickson's old light construction from his pre-LA days, when he lived at Chicago & Ashland. Oh, Chip Inn, how we miss you!

Sad news from the old homestead area... [posted by Troy] Galesburg, Illinois' recent Maytag plant closing made national coverage on NPR today. Tough times. Those you from the area may be interested.

You hear about this one? [posted by Troy] In the VP debate, Cheney meant to say factcheck.ORG ,but instead said factcheck.COM, which flooded some small Web site. Factcheck.com then redirected people to Soros's anti-Bush site. Awesome! read more about it here.
