HOW SAFE ARE NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS?

FAR SAFER THAN FDA-APPROVED DRUGS (MANY OF WHICH ARE TOXIC)
SO WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT TRYING - ONCE AGAIN - TO LIMIT CONSUMER
ACCESS? HERE'S A CLUE - COULD THE FDA HAVE A CLOSE (FINANCIAL) WORKING
PARTNERSHIP WTH THE PHAMRACEUTICAL INDSTRY WHICH STANDS TO LOSE PROFITS
IF NUTRITIONALS REPLACE THEIR DEADLY PRODUCTS? OOOOH - WHAT A THOUGHT.

It’s fascinating how when there is one suspected adverse reaction to a dietary supplement
it makes the headlines, and yet officials and the media are oblivious to the plethora of deaths
due to properly regulated, properly prescribed and properly used drugs – not to mention
avoidable deaths due to medical misadventure.
This graph highlights the relative safety
of dietary supplements compared to many other causes of death. Although they are USA
figures, by and large they compare with NEW ZEALAND figures.

The death rate from properly prescribed & used drugs is 5.18% or roughly 5 in 100 (That is 50,000+
deaths for drugs every 1 for supplements!) - but FDA agency critics turn a blind eye on the facts
and refuse to recognize the safety of supplements and the real dangers of drugs. On the one hand
they claim they have not got the resources to regulate dangerous drugs but yet can spend unlimited
time, expense and energy squandering what little they do have on perfectly safe natural products.
Boy are they desperate!

Why does the pharmaceutical industry fear us so? Read here:
