Here's another useful treatment for angina your cardiologist doesn't want you to know about.... It's called EECP - Enhanced External Counter-Pulsation - and the big news here is that this non-invasive treatment that is a PROVEN beneficial replacement for surgery, is both FDA and Medicare and Health Insurance approved. Scientific validation in hundreds of clinical trials conducted at many of the nation's most prestigious hospitals have proven EECP safe and effective - and yet traditional heart docs act as though it's unproven quackery. What they've actually proven, however, is that they will resist any treatment, no matter how helpful, that threatens their pocketbook! How sad. Read the research for yourself. http://heartdisease.about.com/cs/coronarydisease/a/EECP.htm

Coenzyme Q10 Essential for the Treatment of Heart Disease
Even some mainstream cardiologists acknowledge there are over 50 major research articles published in reputable journals on the use of CoQ10 in cardiac related diseases, especially congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy (a disease affecting the heart muscle). Researchers estimate that if doctors gave coenzyme Q10 to 1000 patients with congestive heart failure for one year, it could reduce hospitalization for the condition by 20%. The vast majority of cardiologists, however, know nothing about it or have an irrational bias against it because it is not a drug - best reason I know to stay away from cardiologists.
