Despite recent bad press to the contrary, it would seem EBay are totally on the ball with regard to scammers. Following Heather's complaint about the scammer that contacted her, eBay have cancelled all bids offered by the guy in question on all auctions he's involved in. They also offered a great list of steps to follow for people if they were taken in and actually sent goods and money to such a guy.
