The electrician finally finished up his work today, and Dave was able to put up the gyprock on the ceiling. Not mudded or anything - guess that comes tomorrow.
Busy Times
It was a very busy week-end around our place. On Saturday night, we had our annual Robbie Burns party. A friend of ours kindly offered her home, and Joe did all the cooking while I was teaching piano. Great food once again, and a good time with friends. Then Sunday Iris and I were at the Arts Centre all day, for a rehearsal and then a performance that involved the music teachers and the dance studio. It was fun to be in a production with her. I was MC and played a couple of pieces, and she danced a couple. Tonight she danced again, this time for a fundraiser for Southeast Asia. Phew! I need a week-end to recouperate.
