Wouldn't Weight Loss Be Easier ?!?
Sleep Breathing Problem Raises Heart Attack Risk
Masked Marvels: Why Treating Sleep Apnea Helps Diabetes
There can be no doubt that we are one of the most affluent nations on the face of the earth - a nation that is fat, and wealthy, and unhealthy, and willing to pay anything for our health, so long as it involves no real effort on our part. We will spend almost endless amounts of money for the latest pill, or potion, or surgical alteration, or high tech gadget - just as long as this means that we can sit back and be passive participants in our health, not responsible for anything more than popping a pill or strapping on a machine.
We are so affluent, and so unwilling to accept personal responsibility for our own health, that we are easy marks for anyone with a new pill or surgery or gadget to sell - just look at the advertising that we are bombarded with every day: pills to help you sleep, wake, achieve an erection, stop having heartburn, have normal bowel function. All pushed at us from the pages of mainstream magazines, just where the tobacco and liquor ads used to be, before they became politically incorrect and were severely limited! We are assaulted almost daily with "studies" and "research" telling us that a drug will prevent or cure a disease that we shouldn't have in the first place, or that a new use has been "found" (read: "invented") for some toxic creation that has fallen out of favor elsewhere. We have surgeons telling us that the answer to our epidemic of obesity is - what else - surgery. We have medical machinery makers and sellers promoting the idea that the way to stop snoring and keep breathing through the night is - what else - a high tech machine. And we buy into this, to the tune of billions of dollars annually.
Here is an idea that people can use, and implement, and benefit from right away, for almost no money (relatively speaking). Just lose weight! So many of our illnesses are directly tied to our burgeoning weight that the solution should be obvious - lose the weight!
But wait, you say - "it's so hard to lose weight, and I'm so very busy and have no time!" Balderdash! People can certainly find the time for repeated visits to doctors and surgeons and specialists, and no one seems to find it "too hard" to strap on and spend the night attached to a breathing machine.
Yes, it may be hard to get started with weight loss - but once the ball is rolling, it gets much easier, and once people start to see the results, feeling better, having more energy, being able to dispense with some of the drugs and machines and impediments brought on by their overweight it becomes very motivating - making continued success easy indeed. Not all means of weight loss are created equal though, some are easier than others. We have developed a weight loss program that we feel is the fastest, easiest, and healthiest yet: The Super Fast Diet .
The Super Fast Diet has helped thousands lose weight, reduce heart attack and stroke risk, eliminate Type II diabetes, lower cholesterol, stop snoring, end sleep apnea, and more. All without expensive drugs, surgery, gadgets.
If you are overweight you owe it to yourself - unless you really enjoy all that other stuff...
Cheers, Nurse Mark
