What are we Doing to Our Children?
Two interesting articles on the heels of each other:
First, the Ritalin patch is OK'd. FDA Approves Skin Patch to Treat ADHD in Children. For those of yu who don't know, Ritalin is an amphetamine. ADHD affects about three to seven percent of school-aged children in this country.
Today, we read that Amphetamine-Linked Free Radicals Damage the Brain.
We are giving millions of children amphetamine for attention disorders, most of which is due to high sugar, high carbohydrate diets. Am I the only one who views this as a travesty?
