Casa Xifré: At Paseo Isabel II, you can find Casa Xifré, one of the strangest houses in the city. The house was built in the early nineteen century by Josep Xifré, a young inmigrant who went to South and North América and come back home being a millionaire. Xifré then built his house with a lot of strange simbols, he was surely (a fact ) one of the first masons in Barcelona and he portrayed such condition in the house´s decoration and symbolism. The walls are full of esotheric symbols like a complete Zodiac, three diferent heads of men who represent the three steps of alchemical work, and many others that we invite you to discover.
