SoftwareLand. . . Returns!
I'm finally starting to get life back to normal one week after loading all my "stuff" in the back of a rented Ford Explorer and heading north! I'm now mostly settled in temporary housing in Kirkland Washington, about a 20 minute commute from the Microsoft Campus and officially start my new job as a Technical Evangelist as of today! I am now also entering the realm of commercial podcasting as part of my new position will involve creating content about the communities I'll be supporting.
Mike's Manic Minute will remain independent but soon you'll be able to also get my "official" podcast feed. The feed URL is still under construction but the blog is already setup over at http://blogs.msdn.com/mglehman
Podcasting Novels!. . .
Fiction author releases 'Podcast-only' novel
Fiction author Scott Sigler today announced the release of EarthCore as "the world's first Podcast-only novel." Sigler said he will release an hour of audio each week, creating a format similar to weekly drama TV shows with continuing storylines. The free Podcast feed will run for 20 episodes.
I'll give this one a listen and review it as it progresses.
