The MySpace Mike Figgis project "CooleStories" is keeping us very busy - it's a new area of tapping into Social Networks for Entertainment projects. This one is to find talent for 3 Mike Figgis ( Leaving Las Vegas, Timecode ) Films based on Storytelling. The idea is to post a vid of you self or a friend telling a story and we will then cast the best ones to star in the film. Genervie Kam, founder and CEO of Music Kampany will head up Content Acquisition and Label & Act liaison for the channel. Genervie, with her Bachelor of Music in arranging, Fellowship of the Trinity College of London for piano and Licentiate of the Trinity College of London for violin, is also a much sought after arranger and performer. She has local and International recognition in the music business and has worked with such artistes as Jacky Cheung, Stefanie Sun, Maksim, Harvey Malaiholo, Jericho Rosales, Fong Fei Fei , just to name a few. “We are delighted to launch i-amtv today” comments Genervie Kam, “we are committed to providing i-amtv globally, with the Best Independent Asian music possible via all the channels that the modern audiences require. Wildwave is currently in discussions with Digital networks and mobile operators to take the i-amtv Channel to international territories including North America and UK as well as Asian Markets, and expect to make further announcements in the coming weeks
