This guy has got Joost running, among other things, on the AppleTV box.

This however is a small peek into what could be the next stage of possible Joost development : Joost Boxes.

There is a lot of progress being made in the "streaming media device" arena - the AppleTV being one of them ( and a closed one - unless u like the hacks above! ) Other ones include the devices from Netgear and Dlink MediaLounge - most of these devices work with uPnP and servers like twonkyvision

So here's the thing - the likes of Netgear or Dlink don't care about the protocols or apps they use as long as the connect to media that people want. Also, remember who founded Joost - Janus and Niklas from Skype fame. And Skype has been extremely effective in getting device manufacturers to embed and support their protocol ( and our friends in Netgear even have a skype phone).

So, like the Skype strategy - grow a huge fanatical user base, then migrate from computers to devices - could we see JoostTM supporting devices that plug directly into your TV or even are embedded directly into your TV - you bet!! Watch this space for JOOST BOXES> 11:12:40 PM  comment []

After much messing around with iWeb - the TellySluts Podcast Beta Episode is back online. The team wanted to try out Garageband/iWeb/.MAc ....and while it's simple, they said if you go offtrack at all and try tweak things, it goes wonky in a bad way!
