iFeedPod I was looking for a way to read RSS feeds on my iPod and came across iFeedPod. It converts RSS items to iPod notes. It supports import of your subscriptions list in OPML format and I was able to import my NetNewsWire generated OPML subscriptions without problem. Harrowing start to Battlestar Galactica season 3 Season 3 of Ron Moore's Battlestar Galactica got off to a fantastic start last week. It's gritty and at times harrowing to watch with interesting parallels with current events on our own planet. Ron Moore was responsible for some of my favourite moments on Star Trek (parts of Next Generation and Deep Space 9). With Battlestar Galactica, the show's creators have gone much further. Sucralose information blocked in the UK Podshow have recently announced that Splenda is a new sponsor for a number of podcasts in their network. I hadn't come across this artificial sweetener before and did some googling. The substance is sucralose and is produced by processing sucrose so that three of sucrose's hydroxl groups are substituted with chlorine atoms. There seem to be differing opinions on the toxicity of sucralose. Most seem to agree that it is safer than aspartame (NutraSweet) but some are concerned that it may have an adverse effect on the immune system.
