What does 2006 hold for Identity?

Firstly: please excuse the blatant plug, but I'm excited about an event that I'm organising through Enterprise Privacy Group in London on the 13th December. We're running a one-day conference to look at the key themes of Identity in 2006, and their likely impact on society. ID Cards will inevitably be on the agenda, but we hope to look at how the broader issue of identity will bring together industry, government and citizens, what needs to be done to make that happen properly, and what the opportunities are for industry.

I'm hoping that we can make this an 'identity-positive' event - there's been too much ID-bashing over the past year, and it's time to look at the benefits as well as the problems.

Speakers for the day include The Information Commissioner's Office, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, RSA Security, Consult Hyperion and Olswang.

It's an invitation-only event, with no fee, please contact me if you're interested in attending.
